close by if you find it necessary during your stay! Golf is available nearby
in 100 Mile House, about 30 minutes from the lake. Do all this - or do
nothing. Catch up on your reading or just catch a nap on the deck - right here at
this rental home on the beaches of Sheridan Lake, in the South Cariboo, British Columbia!

Sit back and relax - take in the panorama view of the lake, and smell the fresh clean
country air as you enjoy looking at an incredible sunset. Listen to the haunting
cry of the loons and keep your eyes open for some of the area's abundant wildlife.

"Attention All Fishing Fanatics"
The ice is usually off by the first of May. The average Rainbow Trout caught in Sheridan
Lake weighs about three pounds, but fish over ten pounds are caught every year. This is
due to the abundant shrimp and insect populations that encourage a rapid growth rate.
Whether you like to fly-fish or troll you'll enjoy picture perfect scenery while fishing
for that prize Rainbow Trout. The current record
catch weighed in at 17 lbs, 7 oz. Caught at Sheridan Lake in 2003, the fish
shown in the photo here weighed an impressive 11 lbs. 14 oz.

Winter Activities!
Winter is a beautiful time of the year to spend at the lake. The air is fresh and
clean. The sound of the snowmobiles racing across the lake breaks the otherwise
peaceful silence that surrounds you. There are just as many activities to fill your
days in winter as there are in summer. Some of the most popular sports are ice fishing,
cross-country skiing, ice skating, tobagganing and of course, snowmobiling. Rentals
can be arranged nearby, and even be delivered right to your door!
